Dr ARGYROUDIS Ioannis MD - PhD.

He was born the 5th of October 1949 in Adis Abeba - Ethiopia, and finished his basic education in the 1st lyceum of Kavala - Greece, in June 1967. The same year he was accepted in the medical faculty of Kapodistrian University of Athens. He graduated from the faculty in June 1973 with notion «Very Good”.

He served the Hellenic Army Forces as an Officer Designate – Medical Division in the region of Serres, where he finished his military service in 1974. He then was posted in Pyrgi, Chios, to effectuate his rural medical service.  He started his training in the 1st department of General Surgery of “Agia Olga” General Hospital in Athens.  He continued his training in the “Marika Iliadis” Obstetric Clinic that was later changed into “Elena Venizelou” Hospital. While completing his training in Obstetrics and Gynecology he worked on his Ph-D thesis that he defended successfully in the University of Athens. His PhD- Study was experimental and was published in several international journals.

He moved to Chios where he started Eleftho Obstetrical and Gynecological clinic. He has done more than 10000 deliveries in his long career and more that 1000 important gynecologic operations.

He published 17 times in scientific journals in Greece and Abroad.

He has served 2 times as general secretary of the Medical Council in Chios and once as a Vice president of Chios Medical Society .Since 2003 he is one of the inaugurating members of ENELIA (Association of Private Practice medical Doctors of Chios Region). He is finally member of numerous scientific Associations.

He lives in Chios, he is married to Aglaia Vorrias and they have 4 kids together.
